Vacation expert and “kid wrangler” Jill Martin – VISITFLORIDA.com’s Family Insider – leveraged Dr. Beaches’ announcement this year that St. George Island is the No. 4 beach in the nation during his annual top 10 beaches list to talk about Florida summer vacation opportunities. VISIT FLORIDA Utilizes Satellite Media Tour to Help Promote Summer Travel

Memorial Day weekend traditionally kicks off the summer vacation season around the country.  In advance of the holiday weekend and as part of our broader summer marketing campaign, VISIT FLORIDA hosted a satellite media tour (SMT)  on St. Pete Beach last week to bring the message of sun, fun and the diversity of the Sunshine State’s unique destinations to family vacationers planning their summer travel.
