Sunshine Matters

It was a very productive week for VISIT FLORIDA, our 17 Partners in the VISIT FLORIDA stand, and other Partners in separate adjacent booths at the recent IMEX America 2013 show in Las Vegas.  IMEX America is the largest global hosted buyer exhibition for the incentive travel, meetings and events industry.  Combining the best in business opportunities, top quality education and networking events, this high-energy show offered Florida attendees endless connections with decision makers, senior buyers and exhibitors from around the U.S. and around the world.  Held annually in October, the show hosts more than 10,000 attendees, including media from 12 countries, and more than 5,200 buyers and exhibitors representing destinations, hotels and resorts, airlines, cruise lines and other travel suppliers from around the globe. What happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay in Vegas!

As part of VISIT FLORIDA’s ongoing efforts to promote meeting and incentive travel to the Sunshine State, our meetings team coordinates exhibits at trade shows around the globe.  One of the largest annual shows – IMEX America – was recently held at the Sands Exhibition Center in Las Vegas, NV and VISIT FLORIDA was front and center.
