VISIT FLORIDA Presents Annual Industry Satisfaction Study Results

The recently released 2010-2011 Industry Satisfaction Study showed that those surveyed were 81% satisfied with how VISIT FLORIDA is promoting tourism to the state.  This represents a nearly five point jump from the score we received last year and one of our highest scores since 2005.  Nearly 70% rated their overall satisfaction with VISIT FLORIDA at either an 8, 9 or 10 – an increase of 11 percentage points in these three highest categories from the previous year. VISIT FLORIDA Coordinates CSR Activity at Governor’s Conference

On Sunday, September 25, in conjunction with the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism held in Hollywood, industry members joined forces to participate in a unique corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity, sponsored by Collinson Media & Events. The goal of CSR is to embrace responsibility for the organization’s actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, communities, employees, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere. While visiting Hollywood for our annual conference, VISIT FLORIDA wanted to organize an event that would provide attendees with an opportunity to give back to our host community. Continue reading »
