VISIT FLORIDA International Team Hosts French Media Luncheon

This week, VISIT FLORIDA coordinated a media luncheon and Partner presentation at Le Prunier restaurant in Paris. Fifteen journalists from major French travel trade and tourism publications attended the event, including Désirs de Voyages, Easyvoyage.com, Golf Européen, Guides Gallimard, Hôtel & Lodge, I-voyages.net /I-trekkings.net, Luxe-magazine.com, Marie-Claire, Marie-Claire Maison and Quotidien du Tourisme.

The media event provided an intimate opportunity for VISIT FLORIDA and our Partners to educate the French journalists on all the latest news and trends in Florida tourism.  In 2013, France ranked in the Top 10 among international countries for visitation to Florida, with French travelers spending more than $200 million in the Sunshine State last year.  It is a vital component of VISIT FLORIDA’s international marketing plan that we continue to host in-country events that bring together our Partners and influential journalists in order to keep Florida destinations top of mind.
