VISIT FLORIDA & Partners Host Second Successful Indian Media FAM |
Leading up to the IIFA Awards – Bollywood’s Oscars – in Tampa next month, VISIT FLORIDA teamed up with Visit Orlando, Visit Tampa Bay and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau to bring four leading Indian media to experience Florida for themselves. Virgin Atlantic Airways supported the FAM tour with complimentary flights into Miami.
The itinerary consisted of two nights in Miami, one night in Tampa Bay and three nights in Orlando. The trip included visits to theme parks, museums and attractions, including Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, Jungle Island and a walking tour of the Wynwood Art Experience in Miami, as well as world-class shopping and unique dining experiences along the way.
This FAM trip marks the second time VISIT FLORIDA has brought media from the emerging market of India to tour the Sunshine State in the past year. These types of hosted events help international journalists explore first-hand the wide variety of travel experiences our state has to offer and, in turn, relay that information to their readers.
