Sunshine Matters

Events are one of the most popular topics Florida Welcome Center visitors are actively seeking information about throughout the year.  To assist with these requests, VISIT FLORIDA has created the Welcome Center Calendar of Events Rack Cards which feature upcoming activities in the North, Central and South Florida regions.  New for 2014, these cards are distributed at all Florida Welcome Centers and serve as a valuable resource for promoting Florida’s diverse events on a monthly basis.

While at a Florida Welcome Center, travelers can also pick up copies of the Florida Official Transportation Map and the 2014 VISIT FLORIDA Magazine.  The Magazine serves as a comprehensive, stand-alone travel guide with articles and images highlighting activities and destinations of interest to visitors in the Sunshine State. Produced in collaboration with the Florida Department of Transportation, the Florida Official Transportation Map remains our No. 1 most requested piece of collateral.

Hard copies of both the 2014 VISIT FLORIDA Magazine and the Florida Official Transportation Map are not only distributed to consumers at the Florida Welcome Centers, but also via direct request, at sales shows and by tourism industry businesses throughout the state.  Tourism organizations who wish to provide the publications to their customers are invited to place bulk orders.  Consumers can obtain their complimentary copies by going to VISITFLORIDA.com/guides.
