Partnership for Florida’s Tourism Unveils New Website |
We are very proud to unveil our newly revamped website for the Partnership for Florida’s Tourism. It was designed by the same talented individual who created the Sunshine Matters blog.
The Partnership for Florida’s Tourism is a grassroots coalition designed to raise awareness of the importance of tourism and to increase public funding of tourism marketing. The Partnership for Florida’s Tourism began in 2006 to combat the increased funding of other top destinations. Key influencers in the tourism industry, and key influencers from business not directly within the Florida tourism industry, but who benefit from spending of Florida’s visitors, have joined in this effort.
The Partnership is comprised of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, Florida Attractions Association, Florida Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds, Florida Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus and VISIT FLORIDA.
The Partnership for Florida’s Tourism is hopeful that the website will improve communications channels for all, from grassroots to grasstops and supporters of Florida’s tourism from near and far.
Our goal was to make it much easier to help you advocate for tourism funding. To this end we’ve improved the site by including better functionality, easier navigation, and added the ability to search by topic.
The redesign was officially launched for the 2010 Legislative Session and will provide the latest results, news and videos impacting VISIT FLORIDA funding.
It is important to the Partnership for Florida’s Tourism that partners and supporters have access to the latest information. Visit the new site at www.floridastourismcounts.org.
