VISIT FLORIDA’s Annual Marketing Retreat Kicks Off Planning Process |
Against the backdrop of increasing competition, massive disruption, and revolutionary technological advancements, 167 Florida tourism industry leaders met at the annual VISIT FLORIDA Marketing Retreat to begin to set the course for VISIT FLORIDA’s 2012-2013 Marketing Plan.
I would like to personally thank all who attended for taking the time out of your very busy schedules to participate in this year’s event. The energy, passion and creativity of Florida’s tourism industry leadership was contagious and the information, ideas and insights that were shared will go a long way towards establishing Florida as the No. 1 travel destination in the world.
The Marketing Retreat was just the beginning of VISIT FLORIDA’s 2012-2013 Marketing Planning Process. VISIT FLORIDA staff will continue to work with all of the Marketing Committees over the next several months to craft an integrated Marketing Plan that will create and add value to our industry partners and to travelers from around the world.
Please click here to view the Marketing Retreat presentations and videos given by guest speakers from the Pew Research Center and PhoCusWright, Inc. More information on VISIT FLORIDA’s new Google co-op program is included, as well.
I welcome any feedback on the retreat and would appreciate any additional thoughts, ideas or suggestions on how VISIT FLORIDA can work with the industry to build more innovative and impactful marketing programs that will add value to your existing efforts.
Thanks again to everyone who attended for your contributions to a very successful Marketing Retreat.
