VISIT FLORIDA Shares Attractions Finder with Top German Journalists

Germany Reception 2At Stereo Café, a cozy restaurant located in the heart of Munich, Germany, VISIT FLORIDA recently held a small reception to announce the Florida Attractions Finder to nearly 20 top in-country consumer journalists.  Germany is one of the Sunshine State’s top markets for visitation and visitor spending; ranked second in Europe and sixth globally, with 452,000 visitors who spent more than $283 million in 2015.

Germany Reception 1The Florida Attractions Finder is a very fitting tool for a German consumer market that is always looking to explore new activities and venture out to multiple destinations during their generally long stays in Florida.  The journalists had the opportunity to learn about and test the interactive vacation planning tool located on both Google and VISITFLORIDA.com.  The Attractions Finder, which is the follow up to our 2014 Beach Finder that has attracted over 260 million views, allows users to choose a Florida destination region and experience the local attractions according to their selected interests through point-of-view videos.
