 | VISIT FLORIDA International Team Attends RSAA Summit 2015 |
VISIT FLORIDA’s international team recently attended the Receptive Services Association of America (RSAA) Summit in Las Vegas, NV. The two-day event had the highest Summit ratings in history, attracting 190 attendees which included a delegation from Taiwan for the first time. VISIT FLORIDA staff were able to conduct a host of one-on-one appointments and participate in educational breakout sessions throughout the conference.
RSAA represents the international inbound industry in the United States and is involved in a wide range of industry activities, focusing on working with suppliers, regulatory agencies and travel promotion bureaus to improve the quality of travel related services for foreign visitors. They are focused on building awareness of the unique role Receptive Tour Operators play in linking suppliers from all parts of the United States with the global travel industry.
Receptive Tour Operators, or receptives, are U.S.-based companies that specialize in creating, marketing and selling American travel products to international inbound travelers. They have unique knowledge of the countries they serve and of the destinations they sell.
As VISIT FLORIDA continues to grow our involvement with RSAA in order to build a stronger relationship with both the organization and the receptives, we look forward to attending next year’s Summit in New York City.
