Sunshine Matters

This year’s Florida Tourism Day is being held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Tallahassee. Each year the Partnership for Florida’s Tourism hosts this special event to educate the legislature, media and Floridians on the significant role tourism plays in the success of our state’s economy. As the state’s No. 1 industry, it is important to let our lawmakers know just how vital tourism is to the Sunshine State.

The day’s activities will include a briefing by the CEOs of the Partnership for Florida’s Tourism and other sponsoring organizations, as well as legislative appointments at the Capitol.  New this year, Tourism Day will begin at the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center and end, as always, with the much-anticipated downtown street festival.

To secure a spot at this annual event, register online before March 4.  On-site registration will also be available on Tourism Day for $45.
