I am pleased to share that VISIT FLORIDA has recently updated and revamped our Tourism Industry Grant Program.  VISIT FLORIDA administers several reimbursement grant programs to assist Industry Partners with marketing their business and publicizing the tourism advantages to the State of Florida.

The updated webpage on VISITFLORIDA.org features detailed information about VISIT FLORIDA’s Grants Program, including the Airline Grant Program, City-Wide Meetings & Conventions Grant Program, Medical Tourism Grant Program, Advertising Matching Grants Program, Cultural, Heritage, Rural and Nature (CHRN) Tourism Grant Program, Minority Convention Grant Program and Small Business Grant Program.  Each grant page provides an overview of the grant, eligibility criteria, application deadlines, a program package, a grant application submission form and contact information.  The updated webpage also introduces a Grants Toolkit, which contains vendor forms necessary for reimbursement, sample in-kind form, reimbursement check list, image development release form, and a link to the presentation and recording of a Grant Reimbursement Webinar hosted by VISIT FLORIDA in July 2014.

On December 11, VISIT FLORIDA will be hosting another informative webinar starting at 10 a.m. EST.  During the webinar, we will provide participants with an overview of each grant program, eligibility requirements, application process, selection criteria, timelines and the application submission process.  This year, we will split up the webinar and have a dedicated 30 minute timeframe to cover each grant program. Below are the scheduled times for each discussion:

            • 10:00 a.m.:  Cultural, Heritage, Rural & Nature Tourism Grants
            • 10:30 a.m.:  Small Business Grants
            • 11:00 a.m.:  Advertising Matching Grants
            • 11:30 a.m.:  Minority Convention Grants
