Sunshine Matters

VISIT FLORIDA and five of our Industry Partners recently co-hosted a luncheon for travel agents in the Philadelphia area.  As one of VISIT FLORIDA’s Super 8 leisure markets, Philadelphia consistently produces a large percentage of air travel visitors to Florida.

The event took place at the Chart House seafood restaurant which is situated on the banks of the Delaware River, centrally located in the Penn’s Landing Area.  As part of the luncheon, each of the Partners had the opportunity to give an informative presentation on their destination or property and spent time networking with the more than 30 travel agents in attendance.

As VISIT FLORIDA’s last domestic travel trade event for this fiscal year, a key focus was on sharing information about current programs as well as highlighting upcoming opportunities.  In the coming months, similar events will take place in key markets including Boston, Chicago, Dallas and more.
