Sunshine Matters

This week, VISIT FLORIDA participated in the Florida Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds Annual Conference.   The conference, held this year in Destin, was attended by more than 100 owners and operators of campgrounds and RV parks located in both Florida and Alabama.  Attendees took part in educational sessions to learn new ways to grow their business, improve park operations and cut expenses.  VISIT FLORIDA’s Vice President of Visitor Services, David Dodd, presented on creating an outstanding customer experience, not simply providing good customer service.

During the trade show, VISIT FLORIDA staff held one-on-one training sessions with individual attendees to teach them how to update their web listing and maximize their exposure on VISITFLORIDA.com.  Since the launch of VISIT FLORIDA’s revamped consumer website in April 2013, the term “RV Parks & Campgrounds” was searched more than 2,500 times and is one of the top 5 most searched terms on our website.
