Sunshine Matters

The winners of the 35th Annual Telly Awards were recently announced and VISIT FLORIDA was honored with three statuettes.  The Everglades in 60 Seconds video won in both the Nature and Wildlife category and the Travel and Tourism category, and Soaring Over the Everglades won in the Travel and Tourism category.  Both videos were produced by freelancers from VISIT FLORIDA’s network of nearly 90 content providers. 

With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this year’s Telly Awards were one of the most competitive in the event’s three decades-long history.  Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards honors the very best film & video productions, groundbreaking online video content, and outstanding local, regional & cable TV commercials and programs.  Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
