Sunshine Matters

Now in its second year, the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival is an annual charity event held to raise funds for the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, which benefits Northwest Florida youth in need.  Taking place this weekend, the event features wine producers, top chefs, food seminars, cooking demonstrations and live entertainment.

In support of marketing initiatives for the festival, the VISIT FLORIDA Promotions Department has teamed up with local media outlets in Atlanta, Chicago and Houston to launch consumer promotions sending winners to Northwest Florida to enjoy one of the region’s largest events in a world-class beach location.  These promotions highlight the festival and their partners on television, radio and digital platforms.

Contest winners from KODA-FM, WSTR-FM and WLS-TV’s Windy City LIVE! will experience the Festival first-hand while enjoying luxury accommodations from Wyndham Vacation Rentals, dining at the famed Grand Boulevard at Sandestin and attending a VIP guest appearance by celebrity chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and star of “Emeril’s Florida,” Chef Emeril Lagasse.
