VISIT FLORIDA recently partnered with EagleRider, the world’s largest motorcycle rental and tour company, to host media who write for motorcycle enthusiast and adventure traveler publications in six international markets. The journalists traveled from Germany, Brazil, Ireland, Canada, Sweden and the U.K., along with two U.S. media from California and Tampa. As an avid rider, I was thrilled to escort the media as they participated in activities EagleRider and our Industry Partners throughout Central and South Florida had planned for them. VISIT FLORIDA’s unique public-private partnership model is successful because of the industry’s active involvement in the development and implementation of all our marketing efforts. This week, 177 Florida tourism industry leaders met at the annual VISIT FLORIDA Marketing Retreat to help create “The Road Ahead” for our 2013-2014 Marketing Plan.
