I am proud to share that today National Geographic launched its new online hub dedicated to the 50 best wild and natural experiences in Florida. The first 25 experiences — by land — are live today, and another 25 — by sea — are planned for launch in February. These are transformative travel experiences that are accessible to locals and visitors alike. I am pleased to share that VISIT FLORIDA and IMG have once again teamed up with two of the state’s top brands – the Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles – to harness the passion associated with their storied rivalry games and direct it toward the promotion of travel throughout Florida. In addition to the tradition-rich football game between FSU and UF on Nov. 29 in Tallahassee, VISIT FLORIDA is also sponsoring the “Share a Little Sunshine Showdown” matchups in basketball and all other Olympic sports. The partnership between VISIT FLORIDA, IMG and the Universities garners an increase in awareness for VISIT FLORIDA’s Share A Little Sunshine in-state tourism advocacy platform. Continue reading »

VISIT FLORIDA is partnering with Visit Orlando and the United States Tennis Association to promote a new state-of-the-art tennis facility being built in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, and the city’s overall draw as the new home for American tennis. As part of this ongoing partnership, members of the VISIT FLORIDA team traveled to the U.S. Open in New York City to host unique events for meeting planners and media. Continue reading »

I am pleased to announce our redesigned VISITFLORIDA.com homepage that has been live for just over a week has already resulted in visitors spending more time on the page and scrolling down further to view more content and more ads. The new look features a cleaner, more responsive design that delivers a consistent view of the homepage across a wide range of devices and screen sizes, providing an optimal viewing experience like never before.
